Moody Radio Quad Cities was established in 1960 between Coal Valley and Orion, Ill. The station was granted the call letters WDLM after D.L. Moody, the founder of Moody Bible Institute. Moody Radio Quad Cities continues to be a leading source of Christian talk, featuring a dynamic mix of programming including Bible teaching, news, call-in programs and music. Reaching a potential audience of over 500,000 people throughout southeast Iowa and northwest Illinois, Moody Radio Quad Cities is owned and operated by Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Ill., and was the third Moody station to hit the airwaves.
To serve our community, significant programming is produced locally and is combined with national programming from Moody Radio in Chicago. Local programs includeDaybreakwith Deb Gustafson and Dave Jolly along with Prime Time Quad Cities hosted by Angie Walters. National Moody Radio programs include Today in the Word, Midday Connection, Chris Fabry Live!, In the Market with Janet Parshall, Music Thru The Night, and Moody Presents. Additionally featured is some of the best in Bible teaching from well known speakers like James MacDonald, Chip Ingram, David Jeremiah, Alistair Begg and Chuck Swindoll. Moody Radio programming is available in many forms including an iPhone app, MP3 downloads and streaming channels.
Moody Radio Quad Cities is also rebroadcast on translator W272AL, Fairfield, Iowa, at 102.3 FM and is heard world-wide online.
